IND Women tour to AUS, Pitch report, playing XI, Injury update

In what is going to be one of the most anticipated women’s series in the recent memory. The Indian team is going to tour the Australian team. The two teams who perhaps are the most popular teams in women’s cricket are going to attempt to come up with performances which put them on the map all over the world. An India- Australia series is often one of the more anticipated ones but we haven’t quite seen anything to the tune of what has happened in the men’s game in the women’s game. How does this pan out then and what is in it for those engaged in dream 11 tips and prediction? Let us see.

Pitch Report.

The games are going to be played in two places and two grounds. The ODI series takes place at Mackay and the T20 and the test match and ODIs take place in Carrara. Both the places are expected to be good batting decks however we have seen the pitches in Australia be bouncy. That augurs well for the pacers and also spinners who will cherish the bounce they get if they are willing to put revs on the ball.

We are going to see some key players step up here and be good for their teams. The Indians are going to pin their hopes on a few players.

Harmanpreet Kaur made the most iconic contribution in any India-Australia game ever. This was the knock she played in the world cup some years ago where she scored a big 100 and absolutely hit the ball to all corners of the ground. This is a dangerous batsman who should not be taken for granted.

Alyssia Healy and Mooney had a great opening partnership in the world cup final where they absolutely took the Indian bowling apart on a big occasion. This is going to be etched in the minds of the 86000 people there who were there to witness it.

Smirti Mandhana dominated the Aussies with an 83 in a game where the Australians were dismissed for a meagre 119. Then the spell by Poonam Yadav where she picked up Perry and Haynes who are both the most iconic players for this team with consecutive balls. Deepti Sharma too was a impressive in her performance. The Indian spinners have often had the best of the Australian middle order.

The game is sure to also have its tidbits of battle apart from cricket which is going to be characteristic of any India Australia game. This has been there for a few years now in the men’s game and has picked up in the women’s game off late too. The Australians are definitely going to be at it trying to get under the skin of the players particularly Shefali Varma who is the young sensation and maybe vulnerable to a bit of chitter chatter. Do not expect the Indians to hold back either too. They would be more than keen to take it on and fight fire with fire. This means that it has all the makings of an impressive series and one which is going to be remembered for very long. This will be one of the telecast games too for the Indian women’s team and with no international cricket going on in the Indian setup, the team will definitely enjoy the support of the entire nation right now. Expect nothing else from the two champion teams. They will all be there to deliver entertainment for the world of the women’s cricket followers. Watch out for it.
